My name is Steve Dixon. I am a family man with a dedication and pride for the community of Flower Mound. For the last several years I have been involved with this community, as a small business owner, a father, and member of several organizations and committees. During this time, I have listened and heard the desires and needs of my neighbors. Please allow me to use my experience, my passion, and my dedication to be your voice on Town Council.

Priorities:

Attract high quality businesses to Flower Mound that give us the conveniences we expect and help lower the tax burden on homeowners.
The River Walk Project and the Hines Hotel Project are needed in Flower Mound.

Have a review of the oil and gas ordinance (with citizens input we can make it better) * SAFETY is my top priority * I am opposed to the drilling of gas wells closer than
1000 feet from a residence with one exception, if the resident is the mineral right owner and they are asking to drill a gas well less than 1000 feet from their own home.

Protect the character of Flower Mound by having developers incorporate our natural resources as value-added enhancement to their projects.

Work closely with the State of Texas, neighboring cities and the school district to make sure our citizens have the best streets, facilities, water and wastewater systems that benefit us all at the lowest cost.
